Last weekend, we hit up the Madonna Inn to help a friend celebrate his thirtieth birthday. His sister was kind enough to reserve a three-bedroom suite replete with a fireplace, a bar, and a wall-to-wall couch for his party.  If you've never seen the Madonna Inn before, it's certainly worth a look.  Bathed in a shade of rose so cartoonish it's reminiscent of the Pink Panther, the inn might be best known for the rock waterfall urinal in the men's restroom off the lobby.  It's a hilarious pit stop for many travelers along the 101.  That should tell you all you need to know about the flamboyance of this kitschy California landmark.  Be sure to check their website for images of all their one-of-a-kind themed rooms.  You won't be sorry!
