| Thrifted dress, Urban Outfitters cuff, Antique Indian earrings, Zigi Girl Wedges via DSW |
I bought this batik dress at a thrift store near the beginning of summer, and I wasn't sure I would wear it much since it isn't the most figure-flattering with its billowing silhouette, but at three dollars, I thought it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. After all, I've always loved batik, a Javanese dyeing technique, and as it turns out, I actually do want a dress that doesn't restrict my waist for those weeks when my exercise routine has fallen off and I've scarfed down a few too many pita chips. Bringing sexy back? Not exactly. Bringing the muumuu back? I'm trying!
